At a show on New Years Eve in Sydney "Mickey" BISS Aust Ch Trupoint Hierarchy, gained the final points he needed for his Australian Grand Champion Title!! Congratulations to his owners and the breeder!

23rd Oct at Hobart Dog Clubs Pedigree Dogfest 2005

Yesterday 23rd Oct at Hobart Dog Clubs Pedigree Dogfest 2005 under Gundog Specialist.. Dr. B McGivern USA 'Spy' (Acewild Aka Master Spy) was awarded Reserve to Best Exhibit in Group (Group 2nd) & Best State Bred in Group... The judge was saying Steve & I were making his job very difficult with 2 lovely GSP's....(Steve's dog is very American.. bright white with liver spotting out of US imports) He later told me that the standard says Solid Liver, L:W.. Spotted, ticked or roaned (he didn't mention blacks.. mmm ... not allowed in States same as LH weims) but in the 'States' you wouldn't put up a solid liver as there aren't any good ones of what he has seen... and my boy was lovely (which put a smile on my dial.. I didn't care if we didn't win another thing for the day) Apparently he also made a notation on the breed sheet that Spy was the best solid liver he has seen.. It was a Big bonus when he gave us the RU in Group.

At this show Kovu (Grausturm Little Devil) was awarded DCC.. His mum 'Cloud' Grausturm Hearts Afire went Reserve BCC and LH's Ch Grausturm Jewel of the Mile (Daisy.. who came out for the day to get her foot back in before the Weim National in a few weeks) was awarded BCC & RuBOB over Nala (Grausturm Love In The Mist) who was Res BitchC and her sister Mishka (Grausturm Live The Dream)... 'Grady' Ch Grausturm Jack A Hearts was awarded Best of Breed. I was pretty happy about all that.. seeing I came out over the weekend with a mixture of breeds with Best of Breed sashes... Pretty tired tho'

Wendy flew me over to Melbourne Royal.... we were very pleased with Phantom (Grausturm Ima Tassidevil)... He got 2nd in Open Dog.. (3years and over)... Lots of multiple Best in show / Grand Ch / Canadian imports / Dual Field/Show weims left behind him. The judge was from Israel. So his record at Sydney & Melb Royals...are that he has always been placed.. no lower than 4ths..

Mark took Best Dog with Trupoint Let Me Atem (CC 10pts RUBOB)... and Best Bitch with Acewild A Winning Way (15pts BOB) in Victoria & another Trupoint, "Mickey" (Aust Ch Trupoint Hierarchy) Best In Show at Sydney GSP Specialty in New South Wales which makes him No 1 GSP in Australia by the pointscores (Ozshow points)... and also James' extraordinary Results from the Silky Speciality show.. fancy winning every class.... WOW...

Puppy dog class: Ace 3rd, Spy 4th... I was very pleased with the 2 boys as they just made this age group by 2 weeks..

Flat out.. ducking and diving in between Marks feet.. he nearly went upside down several times..LOL she was on a mission to try and catch the puppies that were in front of her. Maybe if he had been able to keep her 4 feet on the ground the judge said .. he may have won the class.

Puppy Bitch Class: 2nd - Acewild Aka Betty Boo (6entries) A large Black Crow decided to land several meters from the ring as I stacked her for the judge to examine her, she held the stack just fine, but when it came to the moving bit as we passed the crow(which was fluttering up and down looking for better worms) Betty had her head watching the crow.. which does no go for good front movement when the head is going the wrong way.. the judge was able to see her good movement as we headed back towards the crow... Betty did have a wonderful time in the ring.. and as we left the ring I was pulled out and around the ring towards the crow... She did want that darn old crow.

Spy (Acewild Aka Master Spy)
We had our 1st show where he may have been able to get points - never got points, but did get Reserve Dog to his uncle Kai (Ch Trupoint Woolf) who was BOB, and also beat his mum Alli (Ch Trupoint Xquisite Alli) getting Runner Up to Best of Breed. Not to finish there, he went Group 1st in the Puppy Class of Gundogs - he was beaten by a Siberian Husky for Puppy in Show, but I don't mind, seeing he was just 6 months and 6 days. Also his sister Betty (Acewild Aka Betty Boo) went Reserve Bitch to her mum - so we had a great day!
